Eric Wilkins was a photographer who shot a lot of the material that ended up in MSSM & SWISH!. I've always wondered what happened to all the unused stuff he must have taken. The average shoot that appeared in the magazine only featured around 8 pictures, surely they didn't arrange a shoot and only take such a tiny number of photo's? I know they doubled up shoots for other mags but I'm convinced that there must be contact sheets etc out there.
Many years later, in the mid 2000's, the Erotic Print Society pubished several books showcasing EW's work and quite a lot of the content is recognisable as being from the same sessions that appeared in MSSM. There are also a lot of familiar looking models in the books.
I've scoured the internet to try and find out more about EW and whether he left behind an archive of his work (I'm assuming he is deceased as there is no trace of him online, if anyone knows different please get in touch). The Erotic Print Society is now also defunct so finding out anything from that source is a non starter.
In the EPS published book of EW's work, Spank!, EW claims that after the basic shoot for MSSM/SWISH! was done a more hardcore shoot would take place and certainly there is some evidence of this in the book. But there is no information as to where these hardcore continuations were published, or where it was intended they would be published even if it didn't happen.
I can't help concluding that there is a teasure trove of great material out there somewhere but the longer it remains undiscovered the more likely it is to have deteriorated beyond salvage or just get chucked in the dustbin by someone who doesn't know what it is.
Here's the model from this sites header taken from the EPS published 'Real Women'. Published in 2005 but they are late 70's shots.
